Save the Date – 2011 Happenings are Brewing Up!
The year seems like it’s just begun, but we’re already brewing a lineup of great happenings through 2011. We thought we’d give you a sneak peek so you don’t miss out!
February 4 (9pm-midnight): The Lincoln Project returns! This eclectic band plays old and new favorites, perfect for dancing or enjoying a night out with good food, beer and friends.
February 14: Valentine’s Day. We’re crafting an experience to welcome you and your sweetheart, or your family of sweethearts. You’ll enjoy special adults’ and kids’ drinks and menu items (including “sharable” options for an intimate dinner and elegant desserts), live guitar music with Tim Church (6-9 pm), and perhaps a chocolate inspired beer.
February 17 (9-11:30am) ~ Muscular Dystrophy Association “Lock Up” fundraiser. Local business & community leaders agree to be “arrested” to raise funds that help fight muscular dystrophy.
April 30-May 1 ~ Taste of Ashland: We serve tasters our selected menu favorites in this annual extravaganza of art, music, food and beverages.
May 16-22 ~ American Craft Beer Week: We’ll offer specialty beers, food & beer pairings, menu specials, tours and more.
June 3-4 – SAVOR: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience, Washington DC: A national celebration of craft beer featuring tastings, education and other delights. We’re among a select group invited to sample our beers.
July ~ Oregon Craft Beer Month: Enjoy local craft beer with us to celebrate the state that represents the hub of American craft beer.
September TBD ~ Rogue Flavor Dinner & Auction: Southern Oregon’s Premier farm to table dinner, this benefits THRIVE’s work to nurture local farms, food producers and other businesses.
September TBD ~ Eat Local Week & Eat Local Challenge. Pledge to eat local foods and sample educational events, tastings and more through the Rogue Valley. We’ll have menu specials to help you savor local flavor.
October TBD ~ Pumpkins and Pints: Standing Stone’s own “harvest festival.” Join us to carve a pumpkin and enjoy special seasonal food and beverages for all ages.
November 4-6 ~ Food and Wine Classic: Southern Oregon’s own top chef competition, featuring local food and beverage vendors, including Standing Stone.
December, TBD ~ JPR Wine Tasting: Annual benefit for Jefferson Public Radio. Enjoy live music, a silent auction and samples from Southern Oregon’s premier artisan food producers, wineries and breweries.
