Pints for a Purpose Benefits RVF2S, 1/14
We’re kicking off the New Year with a benefit evening supporting one of our favorite local nonprofits – Rogue Valley Farm to School. Our coworkers chose this organization to receive a donation through our brewpub’s Pints for a Purpose Program, and we’re thrilled to throw a party with them next Tuesday, January 14th at 5pm.
Through this program, Standing Stone donates $2 for every pint of beer sold from 5-10pm on one night. So come show your support for this great local organization and toast a pint in their name on the 14th!
A bit about Rogue Valley Farm to School (RVF2S): This program educates children about food systems through hands-on farm and garden programs, and by increasing local foods in school meals. Their efforts inspire an appreciation of local agriculture that improves the economy and environment of our community.
One of our favorite annual RVF2S events is the Siskiyou Challenge Multi-Sport Relay Race in September. Athletes run, bike and kayak all around Ashland, and registration fees raise funds for RVF2S programs. Our brewery donates beer and food for all the racers, and we enter several of our own racing teams to participate, too. Standing Stone teams “Blue Butts,” “Half Pints,” and “Sparkle Motion” are some of the past years’ favorites.
Join us in toasting a local craft beer for a good cause! It’s a great opportunity to try our latest seasonal, Farmer Brown Ale, appropriately brewed for the occasion. We would love to see as many RVF2S fans as possible in the brewpub to make this one of the biggest Pints for a Purpose benefit nights yet!
Please enjoy responsibly
