Pints for a Purpose Benefits FOTAS, 2/4

Begging for a good reason to have a pint with pals? Our next Pints for a Purpose benefit evening is just around the corner. Next Tuesday, February 4th, we recognize Friends of the Animal Shelter (FOTAS) as the latest employee-chosen nonprofit to receive funds through our beer-sales donation program. For one evening, from 5-10pm, we will give $2 for every pint of beer sold to this wonderful local organization.fotas-logo1

FOTAS is a nonprofit that was formed in 1990 to support the programs of the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Their mission is to increase pet adoption, improve the quality of life for Shelter animals, promote spaying and neutering, and participate in outreach and educational activities regarding responsible pet guardianship and animal welfare.

You may recognize FOTAS from their annual Puss & Boots Costume Ball at the Ashland Armory. This often sold-out event is their biggest fundraiser of the year and has been voted “Best Halloween Party in the Rogue Valley.” Since Halloween is still about nine months away, pounce on this opportunity to show your support for this fun and creative organization!pintsforapurpose

To stay in touch with FOTAS events and see a current roster of animals ready for adoption, visit their website or Facebook page.

We’d love to get as many animal lovers as possible to the brewpub to show support for FOTAS and all they do for the local animal shelter. Representatives from the nonprofit will be enjoying a pint in the bar, so swing by to “sit,” “shake,” and toast your favorite ale to responsible pet adoption and ownership. And as always, we encourage all you animals to enjoy responsibly!
