Pints for a Purpose Supports CASA, 12/3

Our next Pints for a Purpose benefit evening is this Tuesday, December 3rd and the beneficiary is CASA of Jackson County. On this occasion, $2 from every pint of Standing Stone beer sold from 5-10pm with go to CASA. Come toast your favorite pint and support this great local organization!pints_purpose

CASA of Jackson County serves Southern Oregon through advocating for children’s welfare. Volunteers are well-trained community members appointed by judges to advocate for the safety and well-being of children who have come under the care of Child Welfare due to parental abuse and/or neglect. CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers speak up for these children and work hard to better their lives. Children helped through CASA and the court system are far less likely to experience re-abuse, spend less time in foster care, and receive needed services more often.

With our Pints for a Purpose program, local nonprofits apply through our website and Standing Stone employees vote for their top picks. We then host a benefit evening for each chosen organization and encourage their fans and supporters to show up, buy a pint, and increase their total donation amount.

Come out and enjoy a beer for a good cause! As always, we encourage everyone to drink responsibly. Join us tomorrow for a good time with friends and community - we hope to see you there!
