Pints for a Purpose benefits the Children’s Advocacy Center- Jan 12th, 5-10PM
Join us January, 12th from 5-10pm as we welcome the team from the Children’s Advocacy Center of Jackson County for our Pints for a Purpose program. We will be donating $2 from every pint of beer sold during the event and are hoping to rally the community together to show our support for this cause.
The mission of the CACJP is to meet the needs of children and families in our community by providing a community-based, child-focused center that facilitates a compassionate, multidisciplinary approach to the prevention, treatment, identification, investigation, and prosecution of child abuse.
The Children’s Advocacy Center was opened in 1991 with the help of the community and is located in the historic Reames building in Medford, OR. Their vision is to see communities where children are safe, families are strong, and child victims can become children again. They provide services in a home like, child-friendly environment where the victims are able to safely disclose abuse to law-enforcement and Child Protective Services. They are also provided with medical and therapeutic services to put them on the road of recovery and healing.
